Who is responsible
Empower Cove operates Cove SEO. Contact support@empowercove.com for privacy questions and requests.
Information you provide
We process account information from sign-in, brand profiles, article content, automation briefs and settings, assistant messages, email opt-in details, delivery and suppression records, and support messages you choose to send. Do not include sensitive personal information, passwords, payment credentials, or confidential third-party information in prompts or brand briefs.
Why we use it
We use information to authenticate accounts, save your work, provide AI responses and drafts, run automation you enable, publish content you release, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
Service providers
Clerk provides authentication; Neon stores application data; Vercel hosts the service and processes workflow jobs and AI Gateway requests; the selected AI model provider processes prompts; Stripe processes subscription and payment activity; Resend processes email recipients, message content, delivery events and suppression data. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe, not stored in Cove’s application database. Provider terms and processing practices also apply.
Email preferences
Marketing emails require an explicit opt-in and email confirmation. Signing up for an account or purchasing does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We record consent and honor unsubscribe requests through the link in each marketing email. Essential account and billing messages are separate. We store delivery identifiers and suppression records to prevent duplicate or unwanted messages. Email links contain purpose-scoped tokens; do not share those links.
AI and conversations
Brand information and your requested task are sent to the AI service when you generate ideas, articles, or helper responses. Public helper conversation text stays in your current browser session for context and is sent with each request; Cove does not save its transcript in the application database. AI providers may retain request data under their own service policies. Workflow runs may store job inputs and outputs with the hosting provider.
Publication and sharing
Articles marked published, and the brand name associated with them, are publicly accessible and may be indexed or copied by search engines and others. Drafts and private workspace records require authenticated access. Unpublishing removes the Cove publication page but does not guarantee removal from external caches or search results.
Cookies, logs, and abuse prevention
Authentication uses cookies and similar technologies. Hosting providers may collect request and security logs. Cove hashes request IP addresses for short-term assistant rate limits and does not use this record as an advertising profile. This release does not include advertising trackers or optional marketing-analytics cookies.
Retention and requests
Saved content and account records are retained while needed to provide the service and meet operational or applicable legal obligations. Contact support to request access, correction, export, or deletion. Some records, backups, provider logs, or transaction information may remain for provider retention periods or legal obligations.
Security and updates
We use authenticated access, server-side authorization, HTTPS, and provider-managed infrastructure. No service can promise absolute security. We may update this notice as the product changes; the current notice is published here.
